At its July 20, 2026, meeting, the Commission reviewed draft proposed amendments to the regulations and a proposed fee schedule. Before they can be published for public comment, the draft proposals must complete review by the Commission's new legal counsel.
Following legal review, the proposed regulations and fee schedule will be published to begin the formal rulemaking process, which includes a public comment period. They are not currently in effect and have not been adopted by the Commission.
Once the proposed regulations and fee schedule are published, they will be available on this page for public review and comment.

The regulations linked below are the current permanent Nebraska Medical Cannabis Commission regulations. These regulations completed the required review and approval process, including approval by Attorney General Mike Hilgers on June 30, 2026, and approval by Governor Jim Pillen on July 1, 2026.
